Aaron Russo dies of cancer

Unconfirmed reports on the internet suggest that filmmaker and political activist Aaron Russo died on 24th August 2007 after a struggle with cancer. He will be perhaps most remembered for his outspoken work, America: From Freedom to Fascism.

Although a filmmaker, famous for producing films as Trading Places and The Rose as well as managing Bette Midler, Aaron Russo became politically active when he produced the film Mad As Hell - which took its name from the phrase ranted by Peter Finch in the film Network - in which he was critical of NAFTA (the North American Free Trade Agreement), the introduction of identity cards, the so-called war on drugs and proposed regulations on alternative medicine.

He made numerous attempts to seek elected office including his 2004 campaign for nomination as the Libertarian Party candidate for US president in which he was only defeated in the final ballot by a modest majority.

He had been acquainted with some of the most powerful people in the world with some of whom he fell foul - including Nicholas Rockefeller about whom he said:

‘Here’s what I do know first hand - I know that about eleven months to a year before 9/11 ever happened I was talking to my Rockefeller friend (Nicholas Rockefeller) and he said to me ‘Aaron there’s gonna be an event’ and he never told me what the event was going to be - I’m not sure he knew what the event was going to be I don’t know that he knew that,’‘He just said there’s gonna be an event and out of that event we’re gonna invade Afghanistan so we can run pipelines through the Caspian sea, we can go into Iraq to take the oil and establish bases in the middle east and to make the middle east part of the new world order and we’re going to go after Venezuela - that’s what’s going to come out of this event.’‘Eleven months to a year later that’s what happened….he certainly knew that something was going to happen.’‘In my relationships with some of these people I can tell you that it’s as evil as it really gets - this is it - this is the game.’

‘People know that 9/11 was an inside job, look what they did here in America, look at 9/11, look what they did - they killed thousands of Americans - people jumping out of windows from a hundred floors up - they don’t care.’

In the end he couldn’t afford the treatment he required to help him fight his cancer and a fund was established to help him pay for it. Sadly, it has been too late.

RIP Mr. Russo. And thank You for Your film America: From Freedom to Fascism - it will still be alive, until few of us (the ones who understand) remain… Our obligation to the humanity is to spread the information about what is really going on in the recent world, including the essential ideas of this work!

P.S.: Perhaps it is truth, that Aaron died of cancer, but we really dont know about what really did cause this cancer. I dont want to spread proofless theories, but in the world we live and considering the ex-friends of Aaron, You never now what toxines could “provoke” his cancer… :(

I am fed up with Obama.
I am fed up with the media.
I am fed up with the Muslim extremist organization.
I am fed up with the government, and it’s all too permeable surface.
I am fed up with the coverups, laced over the innocent eyes our American troops are fighting for, and now have to suffer, while having the mindset that their sufferage is for freedom, and not economic balance, or superiority, or for political rooting.
But I am not angry. It is not my responsibility to hate.
But I will do everything in my power to make sure there is some sort of successor that will emerge from the bidings of
the man with all the answers:
Aaron Russo. A man who loved his country, love his family, loved his god. And loved freedom. God bless you Mr Russo.

how are we all going to come together exactly to defend our selve tell me if any one has a really good plan on how we can go about this let me know cause right now you have to wait to the right time to pick a battle and not everyone in the us is going to fight its not like it was when we had our last civil war and i just waiting for a sign that tells me more on this matter im not letting this get to me but remember people dont want to hear the truth and are scared and people here in America like a lot of people like the life style they are living in and could care less they are skeptics and people eyes are blinded ok there is no way in winning this unless we the people really do all come together which thats gonna be hard to do America is full of evil and how are we going to really get in on being friends witht the enemies and join them exactly to know how to bring them down its really up to the brave ones out there we are suppose to be land of the free and home of the braves and believe me if there really is away let me know give me some kind of hope for our future generation thanks.
