Description :
Addled Elements (Addled 2)
Match up two or more blocks to make them disappear. You can slide blocks left and right and allow them to drop off ledges but beware, you cannot lift them again, so lots of careful forward planning is required.
The four elements of fire, water, earth and wind help and hinder you in your attempts to clear the levels. The Fire Elemental uses torches to burn blocks. The Water Elemental makes ice blocks which crack underneath you and can shatter completely. The Earth Elemental grows man-eating plants which grab hold of neighbouring blocks and generally get in the way. The Wind Elemental releases mini-whirlwinds which can levitate blocks but aren't so good at letting them down again!
Used properly the four elemental powers can help solve a level but it's in the nature of these creatures to be mischievous, one wrong move and the elements will happily leave a level unsolveable. Oh, and the six possible combinations of elemental forces all have their special quirks too, meaning that there are always new tricks to learn.
With 450 levels to challenge you this is not a game, like many on mobile phones, that you will finish in a couple of hours. And as the popular skip option from Addled 1 is back it is not a game where getting stuck on one level should ever hold you back either.

Based, like all the really great puzzle games, around a simple premise, Addled twists huge complexity from its core idea....
It's a telling compliment to pay that we could imagine a smartened-up version of Addled on the Nintendo DS, using the stylus to drag the pieces around. It has that kind of feel; a slightly off-the-wall, classic-yet-fresh take on the ages old block puzzling genre.
